Open Board Positions

Morrisville Little League is looking for community members to join our Board of Directors and committees! These roles are essential to keeping our program strong, organized, and fun for our kids — and most can be done in just a few hours each month. No baseball experience is required, just a willingness to help and be part of something great for our youth.

Our timeframes for monthly meetings is October through June each year. Most roles require the hours noted below February through May/June, depending on the position.

Secretary

Help keep our league organized and connected.

  • Record and distribute meeting minutes.

  • Prepare and circulate meeting agendas.

  • Provide the final meeting link for posting to the website.

  • Maintain projects and documents in ClickUp.

    Perfect for someone detail-oriented who enjoys organization and communication.
    Average time: 2–3 hours/month.

Marketing Chair

Lead the charge in sharing our league’s story and celebrating our players!

  • Oversee and lead the media team.

  • Hold brief planning meetings for updates and announcements.

  • Manage the timeline for social posts and website updates.

  • Create and publish social media posts.

  • Build an image bank for future use.

Great for someone creative who loves social media or photography.
Average time: 2–4 hours/month.

Fundraising Chair

Help make our season possible through events and sponsorships.

  • Plan and oversee the annual fundraising event.

  • Organize tournament fundraisers.

  • Lead sponsorship outreach efforts.

    Ideal for someone who enjoys community connections and event planning.
    Average time: 3–4 hours/month (a bit more around event season).

Fundraising Committee Member

Join a great team that supports our league’s biggest events and fundraisers.

  • Help coordinate banner sponsorship mailings.

  • Volunteer at tournaments and special events.

  • Assist with donor relationships and donation requests.

  • Help collect supplies for events.

Perfect for parents or community members who can pitch in occasionally and want to stay involved.
Average time: flexible—help as you’re able!

Coach & Equipment Chair

Keep our teams equipped, organized, and ready to play.

  • Inventory and distribute equipment each season.

  • Order and maintain baseball gear.

  • Organize coaches’ clinics and training materials.

  • Coordinate umpire scheduling.

  • Work with the President on finalizing rosters.

Great for someone who likes hands-on organization and working directly with teams.
Average time: 3–5 hours/month (mostly pre- and post-season).

Field Maintenance Chair

Help keep our fields game-ready and safe for players.

  • Organize volunteers for field work.

  • Coordinate mowing and maintenance with the school.

  • Schedule material deliveries and equipment needs.

  • Oversee seasonal prep and assist with game day setup.

Ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and seeing immediate results of their efforts.
Average time: 3–5 hours/month (mostly during spring season).
